I’m Back………..

Three weeks and no internet coverage whilst moving house has given me time to realise how much our whole life no depends on the web.

Communications, banking, bill paying and of course photo sharing.

All these can be done other ways or elsewhere but the sheer time saving convenience of doing it all from home cannot be overstated.

Anyway, the photography side of life has been as busy as ever so I will start sharing some of the new seascapes and fashion pics from today.

The glamour strip of the Gold Coast has might impressive skyscrapers,

but they all pale away compared to the shoreline sentinels…..

In full sunlight, many rock formations along the stunning Gold Coast lose their definition.

But early in the morning, whole new patterns occur, to me these rocks form a natural causeway to the light…..

Sunrise Cascades………..

Years of being pounded by the ocean sweeping into shore have created wonderful rock formations.

Add the rising sun, and the result is a series of magnificent Sunrise Cascades……………..

Natures Spotlight………..

When capturing seascapes, a essential ingredient is clouds.

They provide drama to the scene, and we all agree there is nothing worse than a blown out sky.

However, sometimes we get doubly lucky and there amongst the clouds is Natures Spotlight……………

Quickly unpacking, and resetting the tripod, I was lucky to capture these Rays of Light……..

cast adrift………..

Wood, of all description washes up on the beaches of the Gold Coast.

Large planks, poles, even whole trees occasionally, however this small piece just looked at home after being cast adrift……………….

Calling the spirits……….

Around the southern end of the Gold Coast, there is a small outcrop of rocks that is sacred to the local indigenous population.

One of the elders has a daily ritual of playing the didgeredoo, his way of calling the spirits…………….
